About
Bark Avenue is a purpose-built pet hotel and daycare venue on a 3,000m² property in Ranui, West Auckland, with separate wings for dogs and cats. Dogs rest in custom indoor units with raised beds and rotate between enclosed outdoor play yards sized for small, medium, and large breeds, monitored by 24/7 CCTV. The cattery wing — called Kitty City — gives cats air-conditioned individual units well away from the dogs. Forest Adventures, guided off-site nature excursions, can be booked as a standalone outing or bundled with a daycare or boarding stay.

The team at Bark Avenue are absolutely amazing; they're professional, friendly and know what they're doing. My two pups absolutely love Bark Avenue, can barely drive past the front gate without them going mental to be let inside as soon as humanly (or dogly) possible. Our pups have both done day-by-day daycare and also boarded for a time, and we always pick up two very tired but extremely happy puppies. Cannot recommend them enough!

My two dogs stayed at Bark Avenue for 3 weeks, it was the first time that the dogs were away from us for an extended period of time and we were quite nervous to begin with as our dogs are senior dogs. The staff at Bark Avenue were very friendly and helpful, very responsive with emails and had good communications. Bark Avenue posts photos of all the dogs on their Facebook page everyday and it was such a relief to see that my dogs were doing well. I highly recommend Bark Avenue and we would definitely take our dogs there again the next time we are away. Thank you!

Tato absolutely loves staying at Bark Avenue! The staff are always super friendly and recognise her straight away. We love knowing she is getting amazing care. It's great seeing daily photos on Facebook of all the dogs :)

Love Bark Avenue us does our dog Tryke. He hasn't been going long but gets very excited in the car On the way to daycare. Friendly helpful caring staff. Very professional. Love the daily photos and videos of all the dogs 🐕 💕

A 20% deposit is required for Christmas bookings, and a peak time surcharge of $5.00/day applies between 20th December – 15th January. Public holiday surcharge of $5.00 applies for all other public holidays.
