Bethells Farmstay for Dogs

My girl is always a little reluctant to leave mum until she gets the warm welcome and sees the fun places to hang out. Photos every few days show me how much fun, and what a great variety of fun times she's having with dogs similar size to her (swimming, sandpit, lovely grassy areas in the trees). She comes back happy and tired... until next time! Thanks Team at Bethells Farmstay for looking after my girl!

The kids and I were a bit anxious about leaving our cavalier, Pip, for 9 days while we went to Australia. Pip had an overnight stay in Feb to see whether she'd be ok having never been in any form of doggy daycare before (she was fine). When we were away, we were able to see photos of her on their Facebook page, looking busy with her goofy grin and tail in the air showing she was having so much fun. She's not a swimmer, but there is so much for them to do there and you can tell all the employees love dogs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, thank you so much for looking after her!

Absolutely love Bethells Farmstay. They are really passionate about dogs and have an amazing place for them to run, swim and play. Our dog is always well taken care of and have no worries leaving her when we need to be away and cannot take her with us. We also love getting pics of her during her stay there and she always looks so happy.

Update 7/3/2023 - amazing bad review performance, over 40,000 views! I cant imagine how many potential customers you have lost, thats a great bad review performance for not paying us back just 100$ and their unprofessional response, keep your 100$, I will keep receiving notifications from google about the great views this is getting! The review: BEWARE with leaving your dog in this ''farm'', if something happens to him they wont take responsability. I left mine there for a week and when I picked him up he was bleeding from the nose and he couldn't varely walk, I had to take him straight to the VET where they recommended to do X-Ray, worse case scenario he could need surgery. The bill also could go as high as 6000$, after that we contact Bethells owner, he declined to pay the 100$ of the VET consultation and medication, we will take further auction in Court if our dog has a major injury. He also is quite aggressive but we believe is because has pain in his leg, at least is what the VET says, now we have to wait what the X-Rays say. No doubt leave our dog here was the worst decision I ever made.

Our dog has been a regular guest at Bethells Farmstay for about 6 years now. We trust them with him like they’re part of the family. He always has a great time, is so well cared for and is beyond excited from the minute we pull into the driveway. Doesn’t even look back when we let him off the leash, bolts straight through the office. Can’t recommend enough! There is no shortage of activities and they go above and beyond to make each stay fun for the guests. They obviously care a lot about what they do and the dogs. Easily the best in Auckland if not NZ.
