About

An East Auckland cattery run by a former veterinary nurse, with private split-level suites and a communal play area opening onto an enclosed bird-watching garden. Rates differ by vaccination status, and it is one of the few catteries that will board unvaccinated cats, at a higher tier. Long stays beyond 29 nights move to a lower nightly rate.

    4th time leaving my cat here. I loved how our shy and anxious cat got more comfortable each time we leave her. The last time we left her, it was like she didn't wanna come with us. Haha. Always thankful for the photo update when we are away. Thank you!!

    Catz at Ashwood are fantastic, They taken great care of both of my cats and go out of there way to help. One of my cats had to stay 3 months while i was in between houses and they treated him like their own. Great care. 5 stars guys, Highly recommend.

    We boarded our cat with Catz at Ashwood for 3 months while we were between houses. The experience was fantastic. Our cat got ill and Carissa called and let us know straight away. Her quick actions saved him from a bad outcome. Love the photos posted in Insta and will be using them again.

    First time customer of Catz at Ashwood. Left our two cats here for 3 weeks whilst away on vacation. On our return they were received happy and settled right back in almost instantly. The service is wonderful, the pricing great, thank you so much for looking after our fur-babies!

    Dingy dark place. My shy cats took ages to settle when we got them home. The whole place needs a revamp. When I pulled up I was not impressed, lawns all long. The lady was not really interested. Would never take my cats there again. Only booked there due to my other unavailable at that time. Had no issues there. Would not recommend leaving your loved pets there. It looked like no effort had been made to make them feel comfortable at all.
