We had the privilege of having Ryan as our trainer and he was amazing. Taught us a lot about our dog and his behavior and showed us how to correct it and made mine and my dogs life much more happier. To you and your amazing team thank you for helping us we really appreciate it 😇

This is to CJ, Casey and Team who looked after my precious Samoyed Mika! You guys have been wonderful from start to finish. At first we were quite hesitant to reach out BUT glad we did! Mika has shown amazing results, from the 1st week, she joined us back for the few days in the weekend to her 2nd week board and train session. Abit of confusion on our end with training dates, but Casey the star helped us sort it out no stress, no issues. Very helpful and the photos everyday they sent us made us laugh. From muddy white dog to happy smiling dog every, single day! After the second session we picked her up and took her for her evening walk; used the tips and lessons we learnt from the team. Mika is a new dog. Pulling issue addressed, reactivity to dogs corrected. This isn't to say she still doesn't pull. Just to say that we HAVE the tools and knowledge to now fix and correct it if she does and that to me is well worth the value of the money paid for the sessions. I would whole heartly recommend Good Dog Training to ALL my dog friends/parents from this day forward. Although, we have done training with other trainers, no other trainer was able to SHOW results like CJ period. Let alone leave a lasting bond between her and Mika. By the end of the session(Today) Mika was following CJ as if she was her owner xD. Again, Me and my Partner express our upmost gratitude to CJ and the team. I look forward to doing additional Saturday group classes and leaving her for daycare+future boarding to further build on her Social and balanced needs. If we ever see anyone of the team at a bar, 1st drinks on us guarantee you that much! 10/10

Our girl goes here twice a week for academy as well as overnights, board & train, one on ones, and daycare from time to time. She's gained a lot of confidence since moving here and has become easier to manage. Staff posts photos of her when she's with them so we can see how she's doing which we love. Jade who picks her up for academy is awesome, and so is Jarmon who we do our one on ones with :)

BEWARE!! We are incredibly distressed and disappointed by our experience with Good Dog Training (GDT). We entrusted them with our dog Harry for a trial daycare day (18th July 2025) ahead of a planned two-week boarding stay. From the outset, we made it clear that this was his first daycare experience and that he suffered from anxiety. We also discussed the potential for tailored training support. At pick-up, we were told he’d had a “great day” with “just a couple of marks” on his face from trying to squeeze through a gate. In reality, he had rubbed the skin raw under both eyes, worn the pads off his hind feet, and came home bruised, shivering, and limping. He was in such a state of distress that he could barely walk for four days. When he stopped eating and began vomiting, we rushed him to the emergency vet. The bill came to $612, and the vet report detailed purulent abrasions, soft tissue trauma, and severe pad damage consistent with overexertion. What is most upsetting is not just the extent of his injuries, but the complete lack of communication and basic duty of care. At no point were we contacted. Had we been told there were any concerns, we would have picked him up immediately. Instead, we were given reassurances that everything had been fine. To then have our concerns brushed off with vague references to “excited behaviour” and “a couple of scratches” shows a serious failure in responsibility, transparency, and empathy. The contrast between GDT’s account and the vet’s findings is alarming. We had high hopes for GDT, but after what our dog went through, we would strongly caution others to keep well clear. The lack of oversight, poor judgement, and failure to take accountability without even mentioning the animal welfare concerns were completely unacceptable. We have also reported GDT to the SPCA!

Over the past few months, Good Dog Training has been instrumental in supporting our rescue dog, Frankie, on her journey toward confidence and calm. She began with GDT with an incredibly nervous and timid personality, completely unsure of the world around her and struggling with everyday situations from previous neglect and abuse. Through a combination of board & train programs, an in-home assessment, and most recently, participation in their daycare and Academy (with convenient pick-up and drop-off services on select days), Frankie has continued to grow into a more confident and well-adjusted dog. The GDT team is outstanding - kind, non-judgmental, and genuinely dedicated to each dog’s progress and well-being. They provide clear, thoughtful training notes and detailed handovers after each session, giving us the tools to support Frankie’s development at home. Their love for dogs and their commitment to positive, compassionate training is evident in everything they do. Thanks to GDT, Frankie now navigates her days with more confidence and curiosity - growing steadily every step of the way. We’re incredibly grateful for their care and expertise. If you’re looking for a trusted, transformative experience for your dog, I can’t recommend Good Dog Training enough.
