The first cat is charged a daily rate, with reduced rates for additional cats sharing a room. Two extra-large suites can be booked for a single cat.

I cannot recommend Kanika Park Cat Retreat enough. We had to leave our cat for the first time during a long trip home to visit family, and the anxiety was real. The owner is a true professional who clearly leads with love. The communication was excellent—receiving photos and videos of our cat looking relaxed was the highlight of our days. When we picked him up after 5 weeks, it was like we had never left; our cat was happy, settled, and clearly well-loved. Excellent cattery and amazing owners. Debby is so kind and has thought of everything. Our two boys had an unexpected extended stay recently and Debby did everything possible to ensure they were comfortable and well cared for.

These ladies I can't speak highly enough about. If I could give 100 stars I would. They are the most loving, loyal, and dedicated ladies I've ever known to look after your precious kitty's. They are incredible and this whole place is an absolute credit to them. My girl Luna has been to these ladies multiple times now and always comes home happy. No weight loss, no fur loss, no watery eyes. Just a happy girl. Individual rooms, all laid out so well. Toys galore, multiple beds, window view of the paddocks with a blanket, calming music, heat pump to keep them all warm and so clean, you wouldn't even know your cat had been at a "cattery". It is a must see for your kitty if you really want the 5 Star experience for them. Thank you so much. I always feel so safe and calm when you have my girl 🐈❤️

This was the best place we have ever left our cat, Debby is fantastic with animals and looked after Crystal so well she didn’t want to leave when we went to collect her. When she got home she was so relaxed, she was in there for almost 4 weeks, can’t say enough at how good they are, highly recommended

This is the most prestigious category in New Zealand. No doubt. I would be happy to stay there myself. Cleaner than a lot of high class hotels I've stayed in. Out cat will never stay anywhere but here. Its family owned and run.
