About

PetParks is a small boarding kennel and cattery on rural East Coast Road in Albany, North Shore, running since 2004. Dogs are housed by size and must be desexed once over a year old and comfortable around other dogs; cats get spacious single rooms or can share if from the same family. Food and bedding are provided, though owners are welcome to bring a familiar blanket and any special diet. Drop-off and pick-up run to two short appointment windows a day so the animals keep a settled routine.

Hotel for fur babies. Really lovely family run business. Been taking this fella there for years, he is always well looked after in his private, spacious room.

Petparks looked after my dog, who passed away earlier this year, on numerous occasions. Although he could be quite challenging behaviorally, Petparks understood him and managed him really well and he was always happy and relaxed about going there. Jennifer and Louise were always accommodating and gracious about booking changes, and drop off and pick up times. I never felt hurried when updating them about anything new each time I checked him in for a stay - I felt that they were genuinely interested in his welfare, and fond of him. I was able to enjoy complete peace of mind about him whenever I was away, and I recommend this place unreservedly. Plus Jennifer does the most fabulous grooming!

My 2 cats and I met Louise during one of the most stressful times in our lives. During the Auckland flooding my babies needed a place to stay and Louise provided the care, love and attention they needed. They ended up staying at Pet Park for two weeks and came home happy and relaxed. What makes this more amazing is I moved house whilst my babies where with Pet Park so what they knew as home had changed. I can't recommend Pet Parks enough. They are just simply amazing and will love your fur baby as much as you do. Thank you for taking such amazing care of my girls!

We had our "special needs" dog Oscar (who is a tripaw Labrador X) staying with Petparks for 4 weeks in August. Oscar seemed relaxed and well cared for when we picked him up. Louise, Jennifer & Co. are very caring. Will certainly come back.
