What pet owners say
Word must have gotten out at home, because all five of my fur babies want a turn at the vet! I cannot thank the team enough for looking after my pets over the past year and for being there through every health scare, big or small. They treat each animal as if they were their own, with so much love, patience, and care. Fiona and Charlie are truly special - always making us feel welcome, heard, and completely supported. This clinic is more than just a vet; it’s a place full of heart, kindness, and wagging tails. Lots of love, Luca, Koby, Spud, Weasel, Gavin & Jasper 💛

A long weekend at the vet is never fun, however Fiona and the team were absolutely fabulous with my cat over this past few days. Lots of great ideas, knowledgeable and confident staff, and so compassionate. We were there until almost 2am on Saturday, and Fiona was absolutely fantastic the whole time. Thank you everyone! Turbo is getting back to her normal self - thank god!

Many thanks to Dr. Fiona, Sammy, Bart, Victoria and everyone else who took such lovely care of my cat Bamboo when he came in with a blocked bladder. I’m very grateful we have an emergency vet in kumeu instead of having to drive into the city. Especially post Christmas when everyone would like to be on leave and spending it with their family. Even though they were inundated with cases whenever I called, they made use to take the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I never felt rushed or like they were too busy to talk and didn’t care. A very special thanks to Sammy who made sure to call me back New Years Eve night after confirming Bamboos care plan with the vet. I won’t forget your kindness and i’m eternally grateful. It was a horrible thing to have to witness my cat go through but I never felt like he was in bad hands.

We had an appointment for our dog at 10.15 on a Saturday. We arrived at 10.05, and the door was locked with a sign saying to call. We called. We were put on hold. We waited, still locked out of the building. Our appointment time came and went. Eventually we gave up and drove away. I was hoping to at least let them know we were leaving out of politeness, but that doesn't seem to have been necessary. They must have been busy, but this experience made me incredibly grateful for our usual vet and I'm now willing to wait for a weekday appointment with them rather than risk coming back here. If you have another vet, stick with them. If your pet needs emergency care, go to ARC or VSA. At least you know your presence will be acknowledged and your pet will eventually be seen.

I recently had to say goodbye to my 20-year-old cat, Chopper, and I’m so grateful for the care we received. The team were incredibly compassionate, respectful, and patient throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me the space I needed to make decisions and say goodbye when I was ready. It made an incredibly difficult moment just a little bit easier. Thank you for treating both Chopper and me with such kindness.
