Part of a network of 30-plus Animates Vetcare clinics, it offers general small-animal care including consultations, vaccinations, dentistry, surgery and in-clinic diagnostics, with prescription diets available through the adjoining store seven days a week.

I had to take my poor injured cat twice in a week as he had hurt himself. Vet care was very good. Followup was appreciated also. Informative knowledgeable, and caring.

It's been some time since I last visited Animates. It was lovely seeing the growth of the store with so much more on offer too. I have a new 12 week old puppy, a mini schnauzer. Can you tell me if you do puppy / socialisation classes?

Money is all they care about not the animals. They do not listen to owners in regards to their own pets, for some reason they think they know the animal better than you do! Don’t bother going here for help with medication for reactivity or anxiety, the personal opinions of the vet get in the way. Look elsewhere.

We are so grateful to Animates Botany Downs for taking such wonderful care of our cat Zena during her 3-week stay. The weekly updates and photos meant so much to us and gave us peace of mind knowing she was happy, comfortable, and adjusting well. Communication was always friendly and reassuring, and we loved the thoughtful touches like her report card and toy at the end. It’s clear the team genuinely cares for the animals they look after—thank you for making Zena feel right at home! Special thanks to Sheridan and Ashlee, and all the angels working behind the scenes in making sure our Zena gets all the love and attention she needs.
