CareVets Glen Eden is a full-service vet clinic on West Coast Road in Glen Eden, West Auckland, part of the national CareVets chain. Alongside routine consultations, surgery and diagnostics, the clinic offers referral services for exotic pets including birds, reptiles, rabbits and other small animals, with in-house ultrasonography. It is a daytime practice (closed Sundays) and refers after-hours emergencies to nearby Henderson clinics.

The team here were absolutely amazing and supportive during an unexpected and difficult time. Their ability to communicate the reality of what was happening in a kind way, and take us through our options regarding treatment was so appreciated. It was also lovely to have a visit from Piper (one of the staff member's pets) while waiting for an outcome on our pets treatment. It made a difficult time that much easier to bear. I cannot recommend them enough.

Our blue heeler had one bad experience at our previous vets and we were nervous to bring him here once relocating cities however my cousin recommended them (they have a German shepherd) and so we visited for vaccinations. They gave us calming meds for the night prior to the appointment and the morning of and they definitely helped. The reception ladies were brilliant and welcoming with his fave treats ready in hand. The vet Petra was wonderful and knowledgeable. Our dog liked her (rare) and she was able to get him vaccinated without issue. Highly recommend!

The vet lady is so nice and helpful! Thank you for the information and medication you recommended and shampoo. My boy came right 2 days later and is back to his bouncy self. We are so grateful! I used afterpay which is so great as an option, especially when you don't have a lot of money there and then. Definitely recommend 👌

The best most caring vets, have been going for the last 5 years with our old cat. They were so caring and respectful when we had to put her to sleep 💜

I can't really thank this team enough. Katie was so empathetic and lovely, as well as the entire team we dealt with. You all have been so genuinely kind, compassionate and respectful during the loss of our oldest furry family member. I've never experienced that level of care through a vet clinic before. Keep doing what you are doing. It's so important that such attention and kindness exists no matter the creature. Thank you.
