Massey Heights Veterinary Hospital is a general companion-animal clinic on Don Buck Road in Massey, West Auckland, part of the Veterinary Hospital Group network. It offers routine vet care including consultations, vaccinations, desexing, dentistry and surgery, with ultrasound and surgical work handled via referral. Weekday hours run to 7pm with a Saturday morning session.

We are so very grateful to Dr Alex and team for all they did for us today for our cat John. Alex for his skill, knowledge and compassion and the team for their all round professionalism and compassion. Alex gave us information in such an understanding and factual way, that we were able to make one of the hardest decisions a pet Dad and family ever has to make feeling supported and in possession of all the facts and empowered. Amazing compassion from the team allowing us the space to say goodbye and feeling their warmth and empathy from the nursing staff and reception made the pain easier to bear knowing they were there. I really cannot thank you enough. John was an older boy we rescued 1 year ago, and was such an amazing soul. He was the type of cat who made friends with people who hated/scared of cats, and wanted to make friends with the whole world. Never once have I seen him display fear towards people or other cats. You provided him with a gentle and dignified end at peace and without pain. He died purring and cuddling which was the way he lived. Thank you so much for everything. Keith and Maggie.

A true gem of a vet clinic in the community! All the staff are so, so, so caring, genuine, compassionate and lovely! I have taken both of my cats here over the years, and they have always taken such great care of my babies! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet clinic to anybody!

Couldn't get into our usual vet so we came to Massey Vet Hospital - Dr Amy King was amazing! So kind and caring and really put our nervous Golden Retriever at ease. Would not hesitate to recommend

My call on 26/02/2026 for a booking was absolutely dreadful 😤. The lady on the phone had zero customer service skills and needs serious training on how to speak to people 😠. What kind of service was that? 👎 It was a truly appalling interaction 😡. Just an awful experience. 🤢

I just wanna say a massive Thank you to the team at Massey Heights Vet. I had my darling cat put down yesterday and the staff were the most professional and compassionate humans ive seen in a long time. Everything was done with such care. Even throughout the year id been taking her there they have always looked after us. They gave me a room to grieve. Talked me through everything and made sure I was okay. Which means the world to me. I highly reccomend the staff & treatment recieved at Massey Heights. There word is good, there team is strong and the know how to look after there customers.
