It handles routine and surgical care in-house — digital radiography, blood testing and isoflurane anaesthesia — and provides after-hours emergency contact through its own vet and the VSA emergency line.

Andrew has been my go to vet for over 5 years now. Started from my husky, that we had to put him at the tender age of 16.5 years due to deteriorating health. Now he looks after my cat Johnny& rabbit Lucy. Johnny had to get an operation for his tooth problem and Lucy had vaccination and eye treatment last week. If I could give 6 stars I would. Highly recommended vet

Had such a great experience at Mt Eden Vet Clinic. Andrew has looked after my family's pets for some years now and Andrew took amazing care of my cat Lake after a little accident that needed semi urgent treatment. He was super thorough and gentle and Lake was very comfortable with him from the start. Andrew explained everything really well and you could tell he genuinely cared about Lake’s wellbeing. I also appreciated that he kept my budget in mind and focused on what was best for Lake. Couldn’t have asked for a better vet experience thank you Andrew!

Absolutely amazing veterinary clinic! My sister’s cat needed urgent care and they fit us in straight away. Andrew was so calm, compassionate, and incredibly reassuring during a really stressful time. He took the time to explain everything clearly and even offered a discount to help with the unexpected costs, which was so unbelievably generous. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Andrew Pegman at Mount Eden Vet took exceptional care of our dog, Vesper, during what became a very difficult time for our family. Vesper was 17 years old and suffering from a severe ear infection, and it became clear that her overall quality of life was slipping away. Andrew was incredibly empathetic and gentle throughout the whole process. He looked after Vesper with genuine compassion and helped us understand her condition without ever rushing us. When we ultimately made the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep, Andrew supported us with kindness, respect, and understanding. We’re deeply grateful for the care Vesper received and for the way Andrew helped us through such an emotional moment. Mount Eden Vet showed true professionalism and humanity when we needed it most.
