Pet Vets is a locally owned general veterinary clinic on East Tamaki Road in Papatoetoe, South Auckland, one of two branches (the other in Manurewa). It offers full-service care including surgery, dental, diagnostic imaging and puppy classes, and handles emergencies during clinic hours while referring after-hours cases to the Manukau After Hours Veterinary Clinic.

I can’t recommend this vet clinic highly enough. The team in Papatoetoe are absolutely incredible. They genuinely care, attentive and always willing to help get you and when it really matters. I’ve been bringing Coco here since January 2022 and the level of care has been constantly outstanding. They look after her as if she were their own. The team picked up on her heart murmur early on and have done an amazing job managing it and keeping her conditions stable over the years, which has given me so much peace of mind. From the reception staff to the vet themselves. Everyone is kind, Professional and truly invested in the well-being of the animals they care for. I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done for Coco and wouldn’t trust anyone else with her care. 🐾🐶💜

Had a great experience getting two difficult rescue kittens vaccinated at Pet Vets Papatoetoe recently. Dr Amy was awesome with them and we felt like they were in really good hands. One of many good experiences I've had at this vet with friendly staff, appointments on time and a real sense our pets were being looked after. I definitely recommend this vet.

A huge thank you to Pet Vets for taking such amazing care of our Ghosty boy who had a big surgery the day before yesterday. We truly appreciate all the love, kindness, and care you’ve shown him. Special thanks to Amy, Kiaera, and all the other wonderful staff even if we haven’t mentioned your names, please know we’re so grateful from the bottom of our hearts for everything you’ve done to make Ghost feel loved and comfortable during his stay. Still can't get over what was in his tummy 🤣🤣 Thank you also to Manukau After Hours for your support and for understanding our situation while his owner was in Australia. We honestly can’t thank you enough! We hope to see you all again (but under better circumstances!) with our furbaby in the future. God bless you all keep up the amazing work you do every day ❤️🐾

Honestly, the best! . They love animals, are kind and considerate, easy to connect with and reasonably priced. It’s clean and well organised. The star is Gaylene at front desk who makes it all feel easy.

Absolutly fantastic service everytime. Staff genuinely care about the animals from the moment you walk in and the care they recieve is top. Amy is awesome and my dog really likes her. So glad we switched to them a few years ago and wish we had done so sooner.
