The Vet Clinic is an independent general-practice veterinary clinic on Chapel Road in Botany Downs, East Auckland. Beyond routine consults, vaccinations and desexing, it offers in-house surgery (including caesareans), dental work and on-site radiology and pathology, and runs a cattery on the premises.

Dr Ranjit and the Vet Clinic Botany team are truly exceptional. Couple of years ago I changed from another vet, and I’m so thankful I did. From the moment we arrived, the team have been kind, caring, genuine, and incredibly professional. We had to visit multiple times due to my dog’s symptoms and injury, and every time they were efficient, organised, and supportive with clear communication and follow-up. They made a very stressful situation much easier to cope with. Dr R is an extraordinary vet, very compassionate, dedicated, and clearly born to care for animals. It’s been incredibly hard seeing my dog go through an injury, but knowing he is in such capable and caring hands has given me so much comfort. The humans there were gentle, kind, and spoke to me with the respect a sophisticated creature like myself deserves. I arrived feeling a little nervous, but the team made me feel safe right away. The surgery went smoothly, and now I’m recovering quickly—strutting around as if nothing ever happened. Thank you to the wonderful staff for taking such excellent care of me. Hi everyone, I just wanted to share a recent experience in case it helps anyone looking for a great vet in the Botany area. I recently took my Rottweiler in for eye surgery at The Vet Clinic Botany - Botany Vet, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for the care we received. Dr Ranjit and the team were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process — professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly compassionate. From the first consultation through to the surgery and follow-up, they treated my dog as if he were their own. You can genuinely tell when someone truly cares about animals, and that’s exactly the kind of experience we had. It made what could have been a very stressful situation feel reassuring and well-managed. If anyone is looking for a vet who will look after your pets like family, I would highly recommend them. We have the most amazing experience! The blood test, the complete check up, all the best doctor ever. I wish I know this years ago , will save me time and money try to find a good doctor! I highly recommend to everyone! They take so much time to look my baby deep , I really appreciate so much, I never see so much care , love for animals. You can see he loves what he does!
