Have been meaning to write this review for a while now. We can’t recommend this vet clinic enough. We’ve been taking our puppy Rudy here since he was 10 weeks old (he’s just turned 1!) and the care has been outstanding every visit. The vets and nurses are kind, patient, and really take the time to explain everything. As first-time dog owners, that support has meant so much. Rudy loves coming here and is always so excited to walk in, but he’s still made to feel calm and comfortable once he’s inside. He’s always treated gently, and we really appreciate how caring the whole team is. Truly a fantastic clinic.

I can’t thank the team enough for the kindness and compassion they showed during one of the hardest moments for our family. We suddenly lost our beloved cat Leo, and the whole experience was incredibly painful and unexpected. The vet and staff treated us with such care, patience, and understanding while helping us through the process. They spoke to us gently, explained everything clearly, and gave us the time and space we needed to say goodbye. You could truly feel that they cared not just about Leo, but about us as well. Their compassion made an unbearable moment just a little bit easier. I’m so grateful for the respect and dignity they showed our beautiful boy. Thank you for helping us through such a heartbreaking time. We will never forget your kindness.

So happy with the level of care and compassion showed by Sarah. My dog has previously been very nervous about visiting the vet, but Sarah goes out of her way to ensure she feels comfortable and able to trust her. This is Bailey & Sarah enjoying one another's company at a check up appointment just weeks after Bailey lost her eye. Thanks so much Sarah for your kindness & care, we appreciate you. Highly recommend this practice, lots of parking, clean facilities, staff that care, plenty of space in the lovely new building. An asset for Rolleston, we'll done guys. I have a rabbit and he is my first pet as an adult. I had never been to a vet and was very anxious. However, the Selwyn Vet Centre staff were so very kind, and supportive. I chose this vet because they were cheaper than my local one but they do not lack in compassion and care at all. Even offered two free follow-up appointments and trimmed my bunnies nails for free. Highly recommend this place. Great quality of service and price.
