Companion Vets is a locally owned cat and dog clinic in Pukete, north Hamilton, with purpose-built separate cat and dog waiting rooms, consult rooms and hospitals to keep visits low-stress. The clinic runs an in-house lab, ultrasound and X-ray, two surgical suites and dental digital radiography.

This is truly the best vets in Hamilton. After my little one went through a painful surgery at another vets, which cost $3,600 but still didn’t lead to recovery, I was fortunate to find this place. Julia saved my critically ill cat with just one injection and a few tablets, all for a little over $200. She is the most outstanding doctor—always gentle, compassionate, and empathetic. My two cats love her. I’m deeply grateful to her.

We cannot express the upmost exemplary service we constantly receive from Companion Vets. Their staff are always at their best, their kindest, and most professional. Each interaction, no matter how heartbreaking, is always a lovely process with Companion Vets. We feel respected, understood, cared for and appreciated by all their staff and each of our animals adore them. We could not thank, nor recommend them enough for all their hard work and their compassion for people and animals. Wish I could give them more stars.

The Companion Vets team have been our clinic of choice for the past ~4 years. Special mention to Juliet, Alice, Caitlin, Tayla and Talia for being friendly, familiar faces each time we came in (which was often) and for loving on my pets the same way I do.
