Gary would of been apauled!!! The lack of communication and empathy from desk staff after our fur baby was euthanized. Gary would of been apauled!!!!! Having had a quote for euthanized services and cremation it jumped by $200. None of the cremation service which I was told would happen, occurred. Gary would of been apauled!!!!! At the so called apology, the woman didn't even look me. All she wanted was the money. My experience after our fur baby was euthanized has haunted me ever since. Shame on you!!!!

This review is long overdue but so very well deserved. Our beloved boy Boris was hit by a car shortly after moving to Wanaka and we rushed him to the clinic to get the emergency care he needed. The team at Farmfirst/Perfirst Aspiring are truly the best at what they do. They gave Boris a second chance at life and gave him urgent and compassionate care during the 48 hour critical period of his brain injury. Special shoutout to the vet specialists: Lachie, Holly, Carol, and Georgia. Thank you all for your compassion and expertise and for keeping close watch to ensure Boris was well taken care of. You all don’t realize how grateful we are. Boris is healing and recovering well, and our family is complete because of you all.

Our pup who just turned 1, went to visit the vet a few times and had no problems with all of the staff we met, so we decided to get our boy castrated by Holly a really nice clinician. She was informative, patient, professional, caring, gentle and understanding. Fast forward to today, 3 days after the surgery. We came in for a scheduled routine checkup to see if there were any problems. Unfortunately, we met Carol, a vet whom we found to be incredibly unfriendly, unsympathetic and impatient. What a miserable human being whom showed no compassion for our puppy! 1. She kept commenting on how cowardice & scared he was to come into the consultation room. * He just underwent surgery, so of course he’s going to be afraid of this environment! 2. She impatiently tried to shove our dog with her legs into the consultation room, until I stepped in and gently picked him up onto the counter. * Since when is patience & compassion no longer necessary when dealing with animals!? 3. After briefly taking a look at his scar, she then got increasingly impatient and rough on our dog because he wouldn’t stand perfectly still while she attempted to measure his temperature by shoving a thermometer up his butt. Had the nerve to order my wife to “Hold him still!” as she continued with her examination. At this point, we were both absolutely furious and couldn’t wait to get out of there as fast as possible! What a horrible human being! It was truly the worst veterinary experience we have ever encountered and we absolutely do NOT recommend Carol to take care of any animal…ever. We are not sure who is in charge, but we certainly hope this review gets the attention it deserves because everyone else was pretty amazing, except for Carol!

An appointment to suit time wise was difficult initially but receptionist listened to our issue and made a time to suit. Very caring response - well appreciated

First time using them and honestly could not recommend them more. Everyone was so lovely and knowledgeable, and took such good care of our dogs during their dental. I was pretty nervous about the dogs going under, but they way they handled everything put us at ease. They even rung and updated us throughout the day which was really reassuring. Thank you so much to everyone there, we appreciate it.
