Tauranga Vets is the Cameron Road flagship of the BOP Vets group, a full-service companion-animal clinic next to Pak'nSave in central Tauranga. It runs full surgical facilities and a dedicated x-ray room, and backs daytime consults with a 0800 line answered 24/7 for after-hours emergencies.

I had an appointment at 5:00. I made it into town half an hour early and they fitted me in so I didn’t have to wait. Much appreciated!. Phoebe needed vaccination and her microchip done - which hurt a bit! Kate was so lovely and kind and really caring. Thanks for a great first experience. Rachel.

We have had an amazing experience with Tauranga Vets, having had to visit many times due to our wee cat being severely harmed in a dog attack. Everyone gave both our Babycat the best care and explained everything to us very clearly. We all feel extremely well looked after.

I brought my 3 pets in (1 each day for 3 days) to have their claws trimmed. I was very happy with the job done and I understood everything explained to me. My dog was too anxious to be trimmed without medication so it was all organised (on Friday) and an appointment booked (for the following Monday). There was some waiting around to see the vet as per your requirements. I understood the need to see the vet and was happy that we could be seen on the day, rather than having to come back. Great service from everyone! All were friendly and helpful! Thanks so much!

We took our sick kitten Jason to Tauranga Vets and were so impressed with the care he received. Dana was professional, kind, and very transparent in explaining everything to us, which made a stressful time much easier. She also gave us really clear advice on what to monitor overnight, what warning signs to look out for, and where to take him if he needed extra care. Jason was later discharged by Lucy, who was so clever in the way she made him feel comfortable while taking his temperature and doing checks. The rest of the team were also incredibly supportive and friendly. Highly recommend Tauranga Vets for their outstanding care and compassion.

You can tell they've put a lot of thought into making it a place where both animals and their humans feel relaxed. The vets and nurses are like family to our cat. They're incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely care about their patients. It's heartwarming to see the bond they form with animals, and it puts us completely at ease. Their passion for their work is infectious. The reception team is always a friendly face to greet us. They're helpful, efficient, and make us feel like valued clients. It's clear they love animals as much as we do.
