Central Hutt Vets is an independently owned general small-animal practice in Waterloo, central Lower Hutt, operating since 1987. The clinic runs six vets and seven nurses, sees patients by appointment for consultations and surgery, and refers emergencies after hours to the Wellington After Hours Vet Clinic.

Absolutely fabulous. The new clinic is awesome and there was no fat shaming lol of my porky dog. They just put her on a weight management plan with lots of support!

Absolutely wonderful. The new premises are luxury without the price tag! It’s a wonderful atmosphere with such smiling faces. I had a terrible dog loss a few years ago and won’t leave my dogs with anyone but I am absolutely fine taking my babies there for stays.

I have been going to this vet since the 1980s and their care has been astounding. Last month I took my dear old cat, my last pet, to be euthanised. He would have been 19 tomorrow. Was very sad, but the support of the clinic, and compassion, was lovely, and really made a difference. Thank you all for all your interactions with our family pets over the years.

Eve and Angela run a first-rate veterinary clinic with highly skilled and devoted staff. My elderly poodle benefits from the best of care and I always leave feeling assured. Highest recommendation!
