Central Vet Hospital is a locally owned, independent small-animal practice on Brooklyn Road in Te Aro, central Wellington. With eight vets and decades of service, it offers consultations, surgery, dentistry and in-house lab and imaging, and is open seven days a week. After-hours emergencies are referred to the Wellington After Hours Veterinary Clinic.

We are absolutely grateful for the outstanding professional team at Central Vet Hospital. Our 7 year old cat needed an urgent complex dental procedure, we weren't previous clients, and they responded and assisted us extraordinarily in no time. Pancho was treated with excellent care and love, and he's recoverying super well. He is a happy grateful cat! Had our eight old Lab to Central Vets for annual inoculations today. Very impressed with Emily who proceeded to give our Piper🐕🦺 a “once over” and explained in detail Piper’s health indicators. We have had three visits to CVs and all vets were magic. Cheers, Christine, Rod & Piper🤗
