Fantastic Team, have always had great service and you can tell that they really care about the wellbeing of the animal. Our cat had a very stressful bout of illness and the team were excellent at helping get her back to full health. Our cat was in and out of hospital a number of times and we were provided multiple regular updates throughout each day and upon return, could tell our cat had been well cared for by the staff and had been kept company with during her rough period. Our cat seemed to almost have enjoyed her stay at the hospital??! An invaluable service for the Kapiti region and if you’re in doubt about whether you need to see them, just give them a call and they’re only too happy to advise.

Highly recommend KEV - Afterhours service Horowhenua/Kapiti have been needing/longing for. Not discounting Massey and Totally Vets Fielding, but the substantially reduced travel time with an ailing animal is amazing. Lovely staff from the greeting at the door, throughout consult and leaving, Superb. Will use again

I captured a young stray that appeared to have been hit by a car. Unfortunately, there wasn't much that could be done. They made her (Maeve) comfortable and humanely put her to sleep. They even gave me a call so that I could be with her in her final moments. Very compassionate and understanding people. Rest well poor sweet baby-girl; there is no more pain for you now.

Great service and care for our cat who had Gastroenteritis on a Sunday. He was given fluids, painkillers and anti vomiting medication…he improved pretty much immediately and has spent the last couple of days sleeping it off. Very reasonable price and so thankful we were able to see a vet on a Sunday and not have to wait until normal business hours.
