It covers routine and surgical care plus in-house imaging and diagnostics, and handles walk-in emergencies during business hours while referring out-of-hours cases to the Wellington After Hours Vet Clinic.

Pet Doctors Thorndon went out of their way to ensure my boy was vaccinated. I had fractured my ankle and as I couldn't walk I was unable to visit the clinic in person so they came to us even though they were really busy. I really appreciated the effort they went to as without his vaccinations my boy couldn't attend daycare the following week which is all that is keeping us both sane at present. This is the level of service and caring I love about this team!

Dr Tracy has been Dante’s doctor since he was a baby. When Dr Tracy has been away on leave, I’ve had comfort in knowing that Dante would be well cared for by other attending doctors, nurses and staff. I’m so grateful that Dr Tracy has been there for nearly all of Dante’s appointments over the nearly 18 years since we’ve had him. She never rushes our appointments and she genuinely cares for the wellbeing of our little one. Thanks Dr Tracy for being so amazing, attentive and caring. Thanks also to the great team that you work with at Pet Doctors.

They were always so gentle and respectful of my previous cat and her health issues, so now my new cat is a (reluctant) patient too! He's still young so very shy, but I feel he'll start warming up to them once he realises how nice they are

I’m new to Welly, so I’m really glad that I found the perfect vet for my cats. And this is thanks to the honest google reviews! So here’s me paying it forward for someone who might need it. I had the most seamless experience with Pet Doctors Thorndon; from securing a last minute appointment to making payment after consult, every step was fuss-free and each team member was so pleasant to deal with. Thanks to the whole team and especially Dr Nicole Sims. Dr Nicole saw us promptly and was extremely patient and gentle with our cat Pooja, who had a bacterial infection. Dr Nicole also explained everything thoroughly and gave us very detailed answers to any questions we had. It’s been 3 days since our visit and Pooja is feeling so much better! 🥹
