Rappaw's Central hospital on Kenepuru Drive is the surgical hub of a four-clinic Porirua-Wellington group offering general small-animal care, digital X-ray and ultrasound, orthopaedic surgery, and an in-house lab. House-call visits and after-hours urgent care (coordinated with the Wellington After Hours Veterinary Clinic) extend cover beyond the consult room.

I usually go to the Tawa practice (which is amazing!), but since they're closed on weekends when my cat became sick I called this one and the receptionist I spoke to was super quick to offer us a same-day appointment. I'm happy to report that everyone here is just as lovely as they are at the branch I usually use- thanks, team! I really appreciate you fitting us in and being so friendly and helpful (and reassuring to an anxious cat mum).

We had our very unwell pooch looked after by the Kenepuru team. They showed so much care, empathy and love to him over our time with them. Each time we came in he was excited to see all of them and hopefully get a treat or two. We dealt with many different people and had only really positive experiences. Really grateful for the care and empathy they extended to our family.
