Rappaw Veterinary Care is a multi-clinic general small-animal practice with a branch on Ulric Street in Plimmerton, Porirua. Beyond routine consults, vaccinations, desexing and surgery, it offers in-house X-ray and ultrasound, house calls and puppy pre-school. After-hours emergencies are referred to the Wellington After Hours Veterinary Clinic rather than handled on-site.

On maybe my only trip here, to euthanize my 18 year old dog, I found the staff to be professional, compassionate, and very communicative. On what was a difficult day, the front of house and backroom team really helped get us through the day. Despite being in a small industrial area, the rooms are light and airy, and access is great.

Very caring and good appointment times. Cat has been recovering well from an operation. Good post op care, made sure cat was not in pain. Also made sure to check if cat was chipped and up to date with vax. Made me feel comfortable asking questions. Easy to get to and ample parking. Good for anxious cats.

Vet staff very friendly. My dog was having surgery that morning. Desk staff lovely to talk to. The vet surgeon was informative, helped ease my nerves. In the afternoon when I picked up my dog information about the surgery was easy to understand. Following day I got a phone call to see how my girl was from staff. Highly recommend taking your animals there. 10/10 🐾🐕

Great clinic, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our dogs likes going to this clinic in the Rappaw group clinics, it's nice and quiet and has plenty of parking.
