Very kind and compassionate care for my pet and me as an owner. Our vet provided helpful informative advice that balanced both pet welfare and our needs rather than just trying to make more money.

Lovely helpful staff and great care and advice for our puppy. The vet made sure he was relaxed before giving him his vaccination and he was absolutely fine. And enjoyed the treats of course.

Excellent service from nurses to vets, all of whom displayed good knowledge of our dog's health and well being from the first visit. Not too pushy with expensive care options and treatment will come with a full write up, including before/after photos. Discharge parts were very helpful, and a refund was sorted when the vet changed the prescribed medication. There's also an excellent range of animal products, and a tank full of turtles to keep anxious masters occupied. Go here to get your animal the best care.

Upper Hutt Vets is one of the few vet clinics in Wellington that go out of their way to bring sick or injured birds to us at Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Trust for care and a chance of rehabilitation. Most recently Ella and Chanelle dropped a Spurwing Plover to us that on admission to us could not stand. Most vet clinics would have euthanised it on admission but after a couple of weeks supportive care by us it is now ready for release back to the wild. Well done and thanks so much for giving it a chance and saving its life; if that is not caring, I don't know what is!! Kind Regards Craig Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Trust
