We had such a great experience here. The whole team is friendly, efficient, and genuinely professional — you can tell they really care about the animals they look after. Our cat has been dealing with some dental issues, and we came in for X-rays after being referred by another clinic. From the very first call, I was impressed. I rang yesterday afternoon worried about our fur baby being in pain, and they called back that same evening and managed to book us in for the next day. That kind of responsiveness meant a lot to us. We had quite a few questions over the phone, and they took the time to answer everything patiently and clearly without making us feel rushed. When we dropped our cat off this morning, the communication throughout the process was excellent — both the nurse and the vet kept us updated and worked with us to find the best option. The vet explained everything in a really straightforward, no-fuss way, which made the whole experience much less stressful. Pricing was also very reasonable, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, our cat came home safe and comfortable. We’re so grateful for the care and attention they gave. Highly recommend to anyone needing a vet — you’ll be in good hands here.

Lovely and Caring Team! Everybody was very kind and understanding. We were very nervous about taking in our one but they made us feel less anxious and guided us through it all. Thank you very much Valley Cottage Vet! 🙏🏽

Our cat had a bad reaction to a drug the vet gave to her, it was literally killing her, so we alerted them, but instead of reacting professionally while they still could save her and as we were devastated, they laughed and made totally inappropriate jokes about how "high" she was. It was really shocking. Apparently they were not used to this bad reaction and were confused, but instead of listening to us and taking action, they still said that we should wait and see. And then it was clearly too late to save her but instead of humanely and peacefully end her suffering they continued this "wait and see" weird thing. She awfully died in suffering within a few hours because of this lack of expertise and professionalism. All our family has been traumatised by this experience. It was a couple of years ago. We waited to grieve properly and to overcome anger before leaving a review. Since then we finally decided to adopt new cats but for sure we will never go back to this vet clinic. Please remember and do better.

Absolutely AMAZING vets! The team are so kind and caring. I have a cat that is absolutely terrified of going to the vets and any sort of travel and they are so gentle with her. The first time we had to take her, one of the vets actually spent a solid 10 minutes just talking to her and trying to be friends with her so that she was more comfortable. He was even able to give her some good chin scratches which is a miracle (she runs away from almost every new person she meets). Delilah (my cat) has recently had to have a dental and some chest X-rays and the team have been so wonderful with Delilah and understanding towards my anxiety! They also looked after my cat Bilbo when we first rescued him and he needed to be neutered and have teeth removed. He was absolutely feral but they still treated him with so much love! It’s been so refreshing to have a team of vets and nurses like the team at Valley Cottage Vets! I would highly recommend taking your pets here if you live close by!
